Mission Kitchen 153

Our Story…

In the fall of 2012, on a Thursday evening, Pastor Kari pulled 2 cans and some pastas and said “I’m going to start a food pantry.” Since then, we have fed over 120,000 people. Our goal is to feed people miracles. We are so grateful for the partnership with United Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank, along with local business partners for their continued support.

MK153 comes from the story in John 21:1-14 when the Disciples caught that miraculous catch of fish. They had fished all night and didn't catch a thing. Then, all of the sudden, at the command of Jesus, they cast the net on the other side and hauled in a massive catch of fish. This is what we hope to see at MK153, we believe that miracles happen as we listen to Jesus. The food that comes, is often times miraculous!
